THIRD GRADE LETTERS PAGE 3
Dear Mr. and Mrs Obama,
My name is Teddy Wofford. I live in Atlanta, Georgia and I am going to talk about stopping the Iraq war.
This is important to me because I want people to stop dying. This is probably important to a lot of people too. In my opinion this is the most important issue because this involves fatal injury.
This is important to me because if everybody dies then we will have no army so we can't protect ourselves. I think you should either stop the war or win it so there will be no more death.
I know you are doing a good job of making the world a better place and I am turning off the lights every morning when I leave for school so I will save energy, I am recycling and I am starting to use less paper.
Sincerely,
Teddy A.K.A cool guy
DEAR PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA,
MY NAME IS ZOE REESE MORGAN. I AM 8 YEARS & I THINK YOU ARE A GREAT PRESIDENT. I WAS BORN IN ATLANTA GEORGIA I ALSO GO TO THE CHILDREN SCHOOL. I'M WRITING ABOUT HOMELESS PEOPLE.
I THINK YOU SHOULD BUILD MORE SHELTERS.FOR HOMELESS BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE DON'T HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO PAY FOR FOOD AND SHELTER. I THINK NO MATTER WHAT, EVERYBODY SHOULD HAVE SOME SHELTER. SOME PEOPLE CAN'T AFFORD TO SEND THEI R CHILDREN TO SCHOOL MAYBE BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE LUNCH MONEY OR SCHOOL SUPPLY MONEY. IT'S HARD FOR KIDS TO THINK WHEN IT'S COLD OUTSIDE AND ALL THE CARS OUTSIDE IT MIGHT BE DISTRACTING. .
I THINK YOU SHOULD HELP HOMELESS PEOPLE AND HELP THEM GET JOBS AND GET A LAWYER AND TREAT THEM NICE I WOULD FEEL SA D IF I WERE THEM. I WOULD FEEL VERY SAD SO COULD YOU HELP THEM AND TREAT THEM WITH LOVE!
FIRST I'D LIKE TO SAY THANK FOR STILL WORKING VERY HARD. SECOND OUR SCHOOL IS GOING GREEN AND I AM WORKING VERY HARD TO KEEP THE EARTH CLEAN WHEN I SEE TRASH I ALWAYS PICK IT UP. THE CHILDREN SCHOOL AND I ARE WORKING VERY HARD TO MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE.
THANK YOU BARACK OBAMA KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK.
SINCERELY,
ZOE REESE MORGAN
Dear President Obama,
My name is Ellis Owen. I go to The Children's School in Atlanta, GA. I am in third grade and I am in Dianne and Vassel's class. I am very excited that you are President because I think you will lead the Economy into great shape. I think you will be the best President that the United States of America will ever have.
I hope you stop the Iraq war as fast as you can. This is a big deal because thousands of people are losing there lives. A lot of families are astonished to get news saying their family members have been killed.
Our family donates a lot of stuff we don't need to Goodwill. Every Christmas my mom goes to a place were it shows a picture of a little kid whose parents cannot afford to buy him clothes or toys. You pick a kid and you buy him clothes and toys then a truck comes and picks the stuff up and brings it to the little kid.
I hope you can apply these changes on our country as fast as you can.
Sincerely,
Ellis
Dear President Obama,
I'm Jack Falstad and I go to The Children's School and I'm in third grade in Georgia. I'm writing about the economy.
This issue maters to me because people are losing there money and homes and also can't afford to uby groceries and other stuff. Kids are getting bored because their parents can't afford toys.
I think that you should fix this economy by keeping companies like AIG from doing bailouts for no reason. Then banks could give people who desperately need money some money.
At my house I'm keeping from bring greedy so that my parents don't have to spend too much money on things that I don't need.
Sincerely,
Jack Falstad
Dear President Obama,
My name is Kendall Heath and I am in the third grade. I am eight years old. I am a huge fan and I am writing to you about health care. I live in Atlanta, Georgia and I go to school at The Children's School.
Health care matters to me because a lot of kids and adults are eating PEANUT BUTTER that has salmonella in it and then they are getting food poisoning. Once I got food poisoning and it was not pretty. So I feel sad for them. What you should do is tell the people that process peanut butter to taste what they made a week before they send it to stores. I also think you should make lead paint illegal because a lot of kids are putting toys that have lead paint in their mouths like Polly Pockets and they get very sick.
To make the world a better place I am turning off the lights when I don't need them and when I go to bed. I save electricity by turning every single light off. I am also saving water when I brush my teeth and taking showers instead of baths. And I am doing chores with out being paid.
Sincerely, Kendall Heath
